In this tutorial, I'll show you how to start an Xcode project for the OSX platform using the game template, clean up the code for your own custom objects, create a renderer delegate, a fly factory array of sounds and basic controls using the arrow keys.

It also uses some of the material from tutorial 1, but for those who want to jump straight to customising, the file is tutorial2.zip at Github Link

With this knowledge, you will understand the following:

- General structure of a SceneKit game

- The MVC pattern

- Understanding the fly factory pattern

- Understanding delegates and function callbacks

- Some 2d and 3d objects

- Creating your custom operator function

- Creating controls for the camera node

As usual, leave comments around as I am still working out the best format to show blind users and programmers with the least possible time taken. If anyone can propose a different format or platform on which this might be more appropriately consumed, contact me in the contact us page.

Cheers
